Our Step-by-Step Chip Repair Process:
1. Preparation:
- For fresh chips, a simple cleaning is usually enough to prepare the area.
- For older chips, rust or corrosion may need to be addressed. We use a rust converter and a scuff tool to remove any rust completely, ensuring the repair lasts and prevents future issues like bubbling.
- The area is then wiped down with a panel prep solution to ensure proper adhesion of the repair materials.
2. Basecoat Application:
