We start by washing and decontaminating your headlights, so we work on a bare surface.

Using progressively finer wet sandpaper (from coarse to ultra-fine grits), we remove the old damaged coating. For light yellowing, this might be 2000–3000 grit; for deep oxidation or peeling, we may begin as coarse as 400–600 grit.
After sanding, we machine-polish the lens to a mirror-bright finish. This three-step polishing eliminates any micro-marring and brings back crystal-clear transparency.
In most cases, we apply a specialty paint protection film to replace the removed lens coating, or a spray UV coating to renew the protective coating on the lens. This is similar to the original factory hard-coat, providing scratch and UV resistance.
