We are insured for your peace of mind. We strive to deliver a service that is high quality, and uncompromised.
We would rather decline a job, than provide a substandard service that wouldn't benefit you in the long run. You will not find limited services such as 1-stage polishes, 1 or 2 year coatings, or partial ppf installations offered here. For reasons outlined on our main page, such services are a waste of money for our client, offering limited results and little protection. When you visit your physician, they diagnoses and treat your ailments. You unilaterally trust their opinion, and expertise. This curtsey should be passed on to all professionals you choose to work with. It is our job as the professionals to identify the issues, and create the appropriate solution which is most beneficial in the long term. The previously mentioned "limited services", are designed to keep you returning on a regular basis, and more often than not, cost you more money and time in the long run.

Understanding The Paint Correction and Detailing Industry
In this industry, detailing shops are a dime a dozen. Unfortunately, the business is riddled with people with little to no experience "learning" on your vehicle. This can be confirmed with a simple job search of detailing shops looking to hire employees for paint correction with little to no experience, yet offer “professional paint correction services”. You hypothetically, take your vehicle to these facilities, and they go behind closed doors in which you have no true idea what process is being taken on your car, or who is working on your vehicle.
At Toronto Buffing Inc. no secrets with regards to whom is working on your vehicle, products being used, or level of repair. It is our standard procedure to complete the paint correction process on one single panel, to show the client clear results. After the paint correction process is complete, we show the customer the vehicle with the bare, unwaxed, “naked” paint surface. After this process, we proceed to enhance and protect the paint with various ceramic coatings, glazes, sealants, synthetic or natural waxes. We at Toronto Buffing Inc. carry most high end ceramic coatings, and therefore are able to offer the best solution to the customer, free from bias.
In the world of detailing, there are many claiming professional “certified” services. Our technicians however have been certified at the auto body level , as well as the detailing facility level of every level of paint correction. We are a Ceramic Pro certified business. Our diverse portfolio of clientele ranges from multi-million-dollar conglomerates, to the average Torontonian simply looking for the best refinishing money can buy.
Our reputation means everything.
Along our years in business, we have come in partnership with complementary businesses. We at Toronto Buffing Inc. specialize directly in paint correction. We have partnership in major body shops, and interior detailing shops that hold themselves to the same level of integrity as our company. If you are looking for body shop level repairs , or interior cleaning services, we do not provide these services, but can send you to those who specialize in it.
A question we often get asked is "XYZ Company is offering the same Ceramic Pro Package for much less, what is the difference between your services?"
This is an important question to ask. And we have long figured out how others are able to charge much less for a "paint correction" and "ceramic coating", and the truth isn't a pleasant one. You are not getting a professional job.
After being in the industry for 15 years as of 2023, and thousands of corrections completed, we know the average paint correction and ceramic coating on a used german vehicle takes approximately 20 hours to complete. ~1 hour for the hand wash and decontamination, ~1 hour for masking and prep, ~12 hours for cutting stages, and ~6 hours for finishing stages. In order to complete a correction in this time, you must be competent, and skilled. The average skilled paint correction worker makes between $20-$30 an hour. Even at the lower tier, the cost for labor is $400. This is before any material cost, rent, or utilities are factored in. The total cost to the company can easily exceed $1000.
The hard truth for the "cheap" deals advertised online, corners have to be cut somewhere. Some of these include:
-The proper amount of time is not being spent, resulting in swirls and defects left behind
-Unskilled labor is being utilized due to razor thin margins
-Low quality polishes, pads, and microfiber are being used, resulting in a substandard finish
-A cheap, low quality ceramic coating is being used
The end result is one that, by professional standards, is subpar. With such services, customer service is sure to take a hit as well. The unfortunate truth is that some will be satisfied with such a job, not because it is a good one, but because they have no benchmark for the job done right.
